Ashford Net Price Calculator

To view your Financial Aid Shopping Sheet, please complete the Ashford Net Price Calculator and select the Shopping Sheet tab.

The benefits of a college education can far outweigh the costs. Since funding your education can sometimes be a challenge, you should know the net price* of your degree program before you start.

The Net Price Calculator will give you a clear estimate of how much it costs to graduate from Ashford University.

Costs can differ depending on where you live and whether you attend on campus or online. This calculator provides an estimate of the net price based on your individual circumstances.

It's designed for full-time undergraduate students, both on campus and online, who are seeking their first degree. Any results are only estimates, and results will vary based upon the information you enter.

If you are not a full-time student seeking your first degree, then your results will probably differ from the actual cost of attendance, so a personal consultation with your Student Advisor is recommended.**

You're not alone. The Financial Aid office is here to support you and answer all your questions.

What You'll Need

To use the calculator, you will want to have the following items ready:
  • Earnings statements (W2 forms, recent pay check stubs);
  • Bank statements;
  • Grade point average (GPA);
  • Standardized test scores if available (SAT/ACT)

If you don't have this information available, it's okay to make an estimate. This online calculator takes about eight minutes to complete.

* The Higher Education Opportunity Act of 2008 (HEOA) defines estimated net price as the difference between an institution's average Cost of Attendance (the sum of direct and indirect costs, including tuition and fees, room and board, books and supplies, and other expenses, such as personal expenses and transportation, for a first-time, full-time undergraduate student) and need- and merit-based grant aid awards. The regulation does not allow inclusion of private grants and scholarships in the calculation.

** The Ashford Net Price Calculator is provided as an additional source of information for prospective students, and any results are ESTIMATES based on the information provided by the individual. The calculator does not replace the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), and does not pre-qualify the student for any loans, grants, or scholarships. Again, the calculator is for informational purposes, and any results obtained are general estimates that can change based upon a student's individual circumstances, including any changes to the student's schedule and tuition rates.
